KIWIS ON THE WAY TO THE "WORLDS"
http://www.gisborneherald.co.nz/article/?id=18427 The New Zealand open men's tricks record ( now ratified) belongs to Ben Groen as he competes in the USA before the Worlds in Germany. At the Regional's last weekend Ben achieved a pending trick score of 6750 points and then on day two tops out at 7600 points ( now ratified). The kiwi's next stop is the US Nationals. Watch for more outstanding results from there.... Lewis McNabb reports from USA: "I had the pleasure of towing Ben this morning in tricks. He scored an amazing 7600 points! To some of you this might not mean that much but the most a kiwi ever tricked before was 5300. It was a truely awesome thing to witness and a proud moment for a kiwi. Also today I witnessed another young man that some of you can use as inspiration. Some 18 months ago Connor Findlay had the same dream you have. Today I also towed him to his personal best in tricks of 2080. And he looks just as solid as Ben. How about you all send a message to Ben? This is a proud day to call yourself New Zealander in this sport!
