Sit Down Stand Up Contestant must first attain forwards barefoot skiing position. From this position must sit down on to the water surface and raise their feet clearly out of the water. The feet must then be lowered back on to the water surface and barefoot water skiing position must again be attained; such position must be held for 10 seconds.

One Hand Wave Contestant must first attain forwards barefoot skiing position and from this position must let go the handle with one hand and keep their hand clear of the handle for a period of 10 seconds.

One Hand Wave Reverse. Contestant must first attain forwards barefoot skiing position and from this position must let go the handle with one hand and keep their hand clear of the handle for a period of 10 seconds. This must be followed using the opposite hand and be held for an additional 10 seconds.

 Tower Start Contestant, must start by jumping from a minimum height of three metres from dry land or a dock onto the water surface and without the aid of skis or a disc, be towed through the water and attain barefoot skiing position; such a position must be held for a period of 10 seconds.

Flying Beach Start Contestant, must start by jumping from a minimum height of one metre off dry land on to the water surface and without the aid of skis or disc, be towed through the water and attain barefoot skiing position, such position is to be held for a period of 10 seconds.

Flying Beach Start One Foot Contestant must start by jumping from a minimum height of one metre off dry land onto the water surface and without the aid of skis or disc, be towed through the water and attain barefoot skiing position supported by one foot only; such position is to be held for a period of 10 seconds. The foot that is to be raised must not touch the tow line at any time and must be clearly visible above the surface of the water.

 Flying Forwards Beach Start, Rope on Foot Contestant must start by jumping from a minimum height of one metre off dry land onto the water surface without the aid of skis or equipment, must be towed through the water with rope on foot, and attain barefoot skiing position. Such position is to be held for 10 seconds. During this time the hands must not touch any portion of the towline.

Flying Backwards Beach Start Contestant must start by jumping ftom a minimum height of one metre off dry land onto the water surface without the aid of skis or equipment, must be towed from a dry land position through the water on his stomach and attain backwards barefoot skiing position; such position to be held for a period of 10 seconds. When performing the variation, flying beach start backwards, contestant must either face the boat or turn back to boat, the rope at no time being placed between legs.

Flying Backwards Beach Start One Foot Contestant must start by jumping from a minimum height of one metre off dry land onto the water surface without the aid of skis or equipment, must be towed from dry land position through the water on his stomach and attain backwards barefoot skiing position supported by one foot only, such position is to be held for a period of 10 seconds. The foot that is to be raised must not touch the tow line any time and must be clearly visible above the surface of the water. When performing the variation Backwards Flying Beach Start, contestant must either face the boat or turn back to boat, the rope at no time being placed between legs.

The skier must immediately attain barefoot skiing position on one foot after this jump, such position is to be held for 10 seconds.

The skier must immediately attain barefoot skiing position on one foot after this jump, such position is to be held for 10 seconds. The contestant must then again perform a second jump in which clear air is visible between his opposite foot and the water surface. The contestant must then attain forwards barefoot water ski position on the opposite foot. Such a position to be held for a further 10 seconds

Backwards Surface Hop One Foot Reverse Contestant must attain backwards one foot barefoot skiing position, and from this position perform a jump in which clear air is visible between his foot and the water surface. The skier must immediately attain backwards barefoot skiing position on one foot after this jump, such position is to be held for 10 seconds. The contestant must then again perform a second jump in which clear air is visible between his opposite foot and the water surface. The contestant must then attain backwards barefoot water ski position on the opposite foot. Such a position to be held for a further 10 seconds. Wake to Wake Surface Hop Forwards Contestant must attain forward barefoot skiing position and ftom this position jump off the wake wave. The skier must take off from the wake on the approach side and land outside the wake on the far side (as per rule C 1 612: f) The skier must immediately attain barefoot skiing position after the jump. Such position to be held for 10 seconds.

Flying Backwards Tumbleturn Start Contestant must start by jumping from a minimum height of one metre off dry land onto the water surface without the aid of skis or other equipment, and without the rope passing between the legs, must be towed from a position on his back, turn on to his stomach, and from this position make one definite movement with one foot passing underneath the rope, to twist backwards (feet towards the boat) and must obtain backwards barefoot skiing position- such position to be held for a period of 10 seconds. Pulling rope in towards body shall not be considered as a movement to twist back-wards.

Flying Tumbleturn Start One Foot Contestant must start by jumping from a minimum height of one metre off dry land onto the water surface without the aid of skis or other equipment, and without the rope passing between the legs, must be towed from a position on his back, turn on to his stomach, and from this position make one definite movement with one foot passing underneath the rope, to twist backwards (feet towards the boat) and must obtain backwards barefoot skiing position, and at all times be supported by one foot only - such position to be held for a period of 10 seconds. Pulling rope in towards body shall not be considered as a movement to twist back-wards.

Somersault off Feet Contestant from barefoot skiing position shall somersault forwards and attain barefoot skiing position immediately. The somersault shall be performed so that it complies with rule C1612-j; such position is to be held for a period of 10 seconds. The 10 second period shall not run unless the contestant's weight is supported entirely by his feet.

Somersault Out of Two Contestant must ride two skis with regular foot bindings fitting snugly to his feet, from barefoot skiing, shall somersault forwards out of the bindings onto the water and attain barefoot skiing position immediately. The somersault shall be performed so that it complies with rule C 1612:j. Such position is to be held for a period of 10 seconds. The 10 second period shall not run unless the contestant's weight is supported entirely by his feet.

Wake Out Somersault Contestant from barefoot skiing position must somersault from inside the boats wake to the outside of the same wake (as per rule C 1612: c) and attain barefoot skiing position immediately. The somersault shall be performed so that it complies with rule Cl 612.j. Such position is to be held for a period of 10 seconds. The 10 second period shall not run unless the contestant's weight is supported entirely by his feet.

Wake to Wake Somersault Contestant from barefoot skiing position must somersault forwards from outside of the wake on the approach side and land outside the wake on the far side and attain barefoot skiing position immediately. The somersault shall be performed so that it complies with rule C1612.j. Such position is to be held for a period of 10 seconds. The 10 second period shall not run unless the contestant's weight is supported entirely by his feet.

Backward Step off Ski Contestant must attain a backwards ski position on one ski, then ride up to barefoot speed and step onto the water and attain backwards barefoot skiing position. Such a position is to be held for a period of 10 seconds.

Jump Inverted Contestant must attain barefoot skiing position coming up to the ramp. The skier must be seen to raise off the ramp and going into an inverted position (legs going pass a 90� angle behind the skiers upper body) and regain barefoot skiing position. Such position is to be held for 1 0 seconds. A tumble turn shall not be executed during an attempt at the jump proficiency.

Forwards Wake Slalom Rope on Foot Contestant must attain a forward rope on foot barefoot skiing position and within a 10 second period must cross the wake completely three times supported by one foot. If in the examiner's opinion the water conditions are such that spray obliterates his view for short periods and he does not have a clear view of the contestant with hands clear of the water or handle while crossing the wake, he may order a re-run which may be followed as an additional attempt to the three attempts permitted.

Backwards Wake Slalom Rope on Foot As per rule Cl 509: a Contestant must attain backwards rope on foot barefoot skiing position and within a 10 second period must cross the wake completely three times supported by one foot. If in the examiner's opinion the water conditions are such that spray obliterates his view for short periods and he does not have a clear view of the contestant with hands clear of the water or the handle while crossing the wake, he may order a re-run which may be allowed as an additional attempt to the three attempt permitted.
